If you have previous Tai Chi experience, this would be a great class for you! In-depth work on breathing and using the legs is a center point of this course. Our Tai Chi Yang Style Long Form is taught as a series of independent modules so that new students can join our class at regular intervals. Tai Chi applications will also be practiced. Class is held in-person only and students will have access to previously recorded classes for practicing at home for a year.
Five Animals Qigong will also be practiced at the beginning of each class to improve health, increase awareness of energy flow, and create peace of mind. The modules will run in consecutive order, progressing through the entire Long Form over a two year period. During each module, we will be reviewing only what is covered in that particular module and not in previous modules. New students can join the Long Form class at the beginning of any module.
Students will have access to previous recordings of each class for a year to allow at-home practice.
Modules of 10 weeks, one hour per week, $150. (Taught by Lisa B. O'Shea) New students may join at the beginning of each module.
